BitTorrent is a file sharing protocol that allows files to be broken up into much smaller pieces. When you begin downloading a file using the BitTorrent protocol you are considered a ‘peer’. A peer is a client that only has a portion of the file available for upload since they haven’t completed the download yet. A seeder is a client who has the entire contents of a file available for upload. A torrent file holds all the information necessary for your BitTorrent client software to to find the different parts of the file or files being distributed. A swarm is the group of seeders and peers sharing the same torrent file.

Ice-T wants to be sure he didn’t leave any personal data on his Mac so he decides to take a hammer to it. But I have one question for you Ice-T. With all that money why do you have a 5 year old Mac?

Twitter is serious business right? Of course it is! But sometimes I like to have fun and one way of doing this with twitter is to send out a tweet upside down.

This is a pretty evil trick to play on an unsuspecting colleague or co worker. However, please exercise common sense with this (something a lot of us geeks don’t have!) and don’t run around the office flipping everybody’s screen upside down or I promise you it won’t be funny anymore!
