How Do I Apply To Host My Own Windows 7 Launch Party?

You can apply to host your own party by visiting houseparty.com. The contest is open to residents of 12 countries but I didn’t see China listed as one of them. According to the House Party website you must sign up between 12:01 a.m. EST on September 17, 2009 and 11:59 p.m. EST October 1, 2009. However the site appears to be accepting applications now.

The parties will be hosted between Oct. 22 and Oct. 29. However Microsoft employees, tech professionals, and Windows 7 beta testers will most likely be on top of the list as the chosen hosts and the House Party, Inc. website states that ‘host spaces are very limited’.
